[June 25, 2019] At Advanced Precision Machining’s (APM’s) Colorado machine shop, spring is in full swing and the long days of summer are not far away now! Business has been brisk, and as the manufacturing industry and the economy as a whole continues with its emergence out of some past downturns, we find that our CNC milling, turning and grinding machines are working harder than ever. In fact, we’re seeing such a recent increase in demand for our precision machining services that our own capacities are being stretched; a challenge that we rise up to and happily meet. Additionally, as the demand for precision machined parts continues with its growth along Colorado’s front range, the supply and capacity other Denver and Boulder area machine shops is being put to the test. At APM, we are now poised to benefit from this rare surplus in demand. A quality end product, repeat business, and unmatched customer service has allowed for even more expansion of our facility, and we are now accepting "overflow" customers. Our reputation has become well known, and we are grateful when the call comes in to take on the excess work other machine shops have to bypass.
With all of this in mind, we'd like to take this opportunity to remind our readers, and provide a brief primer, about an important service we provide to the CNC machining and precision manufacturing industry. As you well know now, Advanced Precision Machining is growing into one of Colorado’s premier milling and machining facilities. But did you know that in addition to our designation as a machine shop, we are also listed as a CNC contract machine shop? So what exactly does this mean? Contract jobs are best suited for high-volume or production-oriented machining work for customers needing weekly, monthly, or yearly work, although they can be applicable for any quantity. If you’re in the medical, aerospace, national defense, or automotive industry for example, and you're in need of CNC milling services for precision machine parts, the milling and turning center you normally rely upon may be at full capacity and must turn away work. This is where the concept of a CNC contract machine shop comes into play. Think of it as outsourcing; businesses must look elsewhere for their CNC milling, CNC turning, and other machine shop services. Contract manufacturing is a win-win for all involved. Our CNC machining company, of course, sees a direct benefit in terms of added business and new relationships. The buyer benefits by successfully fulfilling the order on their end. Even the "regulars" who routinely utilize our services benefit. The additional contracts and resulting revenues are turned around and invested in updated equipment, new employees, and improved facilities.
Our Colorado machine shop is firing on all cylinders, and we're ready to shoulder the load. Big or small, contract or custom one-off jobs, we have the capacity to meet your needs! We dedicate ourselves to manufacturing the highest quality precision machined parts while providing the best customer service experience in the CNC machine shop business. Let us simplify the contract manufacturing process for you. Contact Advanced Precision Machining today and provide us with your design, specs and dimensions, and material preferences, and our certified CNC machinists will provide you with a quote, After the bidding process is complete, we are confident that you'll select APM as your new contract machine shop.
