[March 10th, 2013] With spring right around the corner, your go-to Colorado CNC machine shop has more good news to share with our customers, suppliers, and supporters. From a bottom-line perspective, Advanced Precision Machining (APM) remains cautiously optimistic as the economy slowly recovers from the recent economic downturn. The last quarter of 2012 taught us that with quality machined parts, attention to detail, and solid customer commitment, our CNC machining business is here to stay. APM closed out 2012 on a high note, seeing a surge in new customers, contracts, and orders for our CNC milling services. Our work continued with other machine shops as we handled their "overflow" business. It is comforting knowing that our reputation makes us a go-to shop. When larger machining facilities have trouble with their deadlines, they know who to call.
We are happy to share news that the first quarter of 2013 is off to its own great start. Our business continues its growth with the expansion of our milling and machining facility operations with the purchase of new equipment. In February, Advanced Precision Machining took delivery of arguably the best CMM in the business; a Zeiss Spectrum II Coordinate Measuring Machine. Catch up on the buzz surrounding our big ticket purchase by reading the associated press release. This geometric dimensioning and tolerancing machine brings our Colorado machine shop one giant step closer to our goal of ISO 9001 certification. With it, we can now land CNC machining work with companies requiring CMM inspection reports and material certifications. Our machinists will soon be out of the office for a weeklong training session on the Zeiss CMM, and look forward to test driving the new toy.
In other news, your favorite CNC machine shop is now the proud owner of a company Facebook page, an updated Twitter account, and LinkedIn company page. We are all in! As a method of further engagement with our great customers, APM looks forward to active communication, information sharing, and having fun with everyone we connect to and interact with in cyberspace. For the latest news and updates, you are invited to like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and follow our LinkedIn Company Page updates. We are excited about where we are headed in 2013 and beyond, and as always, we want to thank our customers for their continued loyalty and support.
