Advanced Precision Machining

We take the bad with the good

[June 21st, 2012] As the economy improves, the manufacturing industry is experiencing much anticipated growth in many sectors. In particular, machining and milling operations continue to see an increase in demand for their services. For those of us specializing in milling, turning, grinding and plating, 2012 thus far is rewarding many businesses with increased revenue and growth, the likes of which we have not experienced in the last few years. The good news locally, is that many Colorado CNC machine shops are having very busy first quarters of the year, especially in the Denver, Boulder and Longmont areas. Here at Advanced Precision Machining, I'm happy to report that we are no exception to this trend. In fact, recently we feel that our high speed machining business is in some way responsible for setting the trend. Our continued attention to detail, precision work, and customer loyalty has resulted in a very busy year through March.

Of course, we take the bad with the good. With the economy not fully rebounded, there are cycles in our industry similar to those in others. The growth trend mentioned unfortunately slowed for us at our Longmont machine shop during the month of April. This despite the fact that bottom lines remained mixed for other manufacturing businesses along the Front Range. Fortunately, our customer base is as committed to us, as we are to providing an exceptional end product and the highest customer service. Thus, we weathered the April showers, and have since been experienced an upward trend again; business has definitely rebounded. With the vacancies in production that April brought about, we currently have quick turnaround on any CNC machine services offered, with a standard lead time of approximately one month. We do however, anticipate more rapid turnaround. Due to full production capabilities, Advanced Precision Machining will fulfill our customer's requests, and we expect this level of customer service to continue until we reach our capacity again. All signs indicate that the local economy is still moving, and we are thankful to be a small part of it. Of course, our loyal customer base makes up the bigger part of it, and to you we are thankful for your continued patronage!

Don't hesitate to give us a call or send us an email if you have a pending project; we'll be happy to provide you with a complimentary quote.
