[February 20th, 2012] Good news, Colorado! Our machine shop business in Longmont is off to a great start in 2012. As the economy improves and manufacturing increases, we are experiencing welcoming "growing pains." At Advanced Precision Machine, our CNC milling, grinding, turning, and plating machines have outgrown their current facilities, and we are literally unable to house more machining equipment. This said, we are excited about the possibility of purchasing our current building, or acquiring a larger facility in response to an increase in customer demand.
The recent uptick in the economy, especially in the manufacturing sector which seems to be outpacing other areas, is even more good news. At APM, we are proud of both our growth and the small role we play in getting this country's economy back on track. With the support of our loyal customers, and as we strive to be the best machine shop in the Denver metro area, APM's growth is directly linked to growth right here in the Longmont community. We intend to purchase additional CNC machines in the near future to accommodate the steady growth we're experiencing, thus being able to take on additional work and also to hire additional staff. We believe this is a true win-win situation for our machine shop and also the city of Longmont.
2012 is really shaping up as a "break out" year for us as the need for quality milling, grinding, turning, and plating is on the upswing. It is our desire to fulfill all of your machining needs well into 2012 and beyond. We look forward to continue to work with you and to let our design consultants and expert machinists make an impact on you and your business in 2012. Thank you for your continued support!
